SSCP Forum: Lessons Unlocked

On the 17th June, we will be joined by Research in Practice (the newest member of the National Children’s Bureau Charity) to explore the key learning themes of understanding and assessing risk in relation to safeguarding children.

Throughout this session, participants will be given the opportunity to explore:

  • Explore key messages about analysis and critical thinking in assessments with children, young people and adults
  • Reflect on implementing these messages in their practice
  • Access tools for further reflection and development

On the 18th June, we will be joined by SSCP Business Manager Jasmine Wark and colleagues as we explore the themes, learning and actions taken from various learning activities, including local Learning Reviews, Rapid Reviews and Child Safeguarding Practice Reviews (CSPR’s).

During this session, participants will have the opportunity to:

  • Explore Engaging with Families
  • Develop an understanding of the recent themes identified in learning activity
  • Understand how learning from reviews has been implemented
  • Build our shared multi-agency understanding

We welcome you to join these sessions and interact via polls and QA to share your voice and further explore these topics.
