Brook Traffic Light Tool:
Since 2021, the SSCP have funded a license with Brook to be able to locally deliver the Traffic Light Tool training, and since this time we have successfully trained 857 professionals in how to use the tool to support children and young people. The license to deliver this training will be expiring at the end of May 2025, and a decision has been made not to continue this funding to provide training and offer it free of charge for agencies in Somerset.
Any professionals who have undertaken the training will continue to be licensed to use the tool and have access to this online, which should continue to be used in their practice.
For any agencies wishing to complete the Brook Traffic Light Tool, they are able to do so directly through Brook.
We have been researching alternative options, further information about this can be found below.
