What is 16 Days of Activism?
The 16 Days of Activism is a global campaign dedicated to ending gender-based violence running from 25th November to 10th December 2025.
This year, under the UN Women 2025 theme: UNiTE to End Digital Violence Against All Women and Girls, the focus is on the growing threat of digital abuse — from online harassment and stalking to image-based exploitation. With one in three women experiencing violence, the campaign calls for awareness, action, and collective responsibility to eliminate all forms of violence against women and girls, both online and offline.
Standing Together is leading a series of events during the 16 Days of Activism, bringing together voices and expertise from across:
- Housing
- Training
- Health
- Policy
- Criminal Justice
- Data Teams
- MARAC, DHR, CCR teams
- Sector partners
Together, we’re shining a light on how digital abuse impacts women and girls across every system, and driving forward collective action to create safer digital and real worlds for all.
