We are celebrating a Birthday!
The P Pod was launched by Somerset Safeguarding Children Partnership in September 2023. Since this time, the fortnightly episodes have covered a wide range of Podcasts (including Trauma Informed Practice, Motivational Interviewing and ICON messaging) and spoken to services across the County alongside a wide range of other safeguarding updates!
It has been fantastic to talk to national experts, including:
- Jordan Alexander – Chair of the Advisory Group to the Government on Spiritual and Ritualistic Abuse
- Dr Karen Treisman – one of the country’s leading experts on Trauma Informed Practice
- Dr Jeremy Davies – The Fatherhood Institute (soon to be published)

We have received lots of positive feedback on the importance of this messaging in Somerset.
