Social Media and Mental Health Survey

As part of her campaign on ‘Young people and social media’, Somerset Member of Youth Parliament Emma Brown has put together a survey to capture young people’s voices and opinions on social media.

I’m asking young people in Somerset to fill out a survey that I have put together for my campaign ‘Young people and social media’.

To fill out the survey, click here

This is a survey focusing on young people, social media and the effect it has on mental health. This is to ensure that I can connect with as many young people as possible to ensure I fulfil my job as a youth representative. The survey covers a range of topics such as social media usage, cyberbullying and support available. We need as many young people as possible to fill this out! The results of this survey will be used to formulate resources and posters to create a youth led set of help for teachers and students.

Please can you spread this survey around to other people (through schools, friends and youth groups) to ensure we can reach as many young people in Somerset as possible. Thank you so much. Please do let me know if you have any question about the survey or if you have any feedback!

Somerset Youth Parliament campaigns

Each Member of Youth Parliament works on a campaign during their term, which is supported by their Deputies and the Advisory Group. It allows us to understand what changes young people want to see in the communities they live in and makes sure that those views are heard by Somerset’s decision makers.
