June 2024 – Understanding Trauma

The Somerset Safeguarding Children Partnership (SSCP) hosted its most successful Forum Week to date in June 2024, centred on the theme ‘Understanding Trauma’. This week-long series of webinars brought together leading voices in trauma-informed care, including Dr Warren Larkin and the team from Lads Like Us, to explore how trauma impacts children and families—and how services across Somerset can respond with compassion and evidence-based practice.
